Kim Sejeong’s First Solo Album “Plant” Tops The Chart

On March 17, Kim Sejeong made her most awaited-comeback with her first solo album “Plant.” With her comeback album, Kim Sejeong topped a music chart.

The title song “Plant,” same as album name, topped the chart of music streaming site Bug. The title track also secured second and forth position on Genie’s and Soribada’s chart respectively.

Mini-album “Plant” consist of five tracks, out of which four tracks were self-written and composed by singer herself. Self-written and composed songs are “Hopes for Tomorrow,” “SKYLINE,” Swim Away” and “In My Dream.” This is also her first solo work after making debut in 2016.

Kim Sejeong made her debut as a member of project group I.O.I in 2016. Later, she joined Gugudan after I.O.I got disband.
