K-pop girl group BLACKPINK made their most-waited 2020 comeback with their single “How You Like That” on June 26. The single ended BLACKPINK’s one-year musical hiatus since 2019’s “Kill This Love EP.

With release of the single, BLACKPINK has already broken many records, and achieved many titles. Check out some of the world record achieved by “How You Like That.”

Most viewed YouTube video in 24 hours

Breaking the previous record held by BTS’ “Boy with Luv” (feat. Halsey), which attracted 74.6 Million views in 24 Hours. BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That” became the most viewed YouTube video in 24 hours. Released on June 26 the video attracted 82.3 Million views on YouTube, and broke the previously held record after one year, and two months.

Most viewed music video on YouTube in 24 hours 

“How You Like That” also became the most viewed music video on YouTube in 24 Hours after surpassing 82.3 Million views. Previously, the record was held by BTS’ “Boy with Luv” (feat. Halsey).

Most viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours by a K-pop group

The music video also achieved the title of most viewed YouTube music video in 24 Hours by a K-pop group. Beating the previous record held by BTS, BLACKPINK became the K-pop group with most viewed YouTube music video in 24 Hours.

Most viewers for the premiere of a video on YouTube + Most viewers for the premiere of a music video on YouTube 

“How You Like That” broke the YouTube’s record for the most viewed video premiere of all time. 1.65 Million people watched the video concurrently when it was released. Previously record was held by BTS’ “ON,” watched by 1.54 Million people during its premiere.

The music video broke the record for the most viewers for the premiere of a music video on YouTube.
