BTS To Deliver Message Of Hope At United Nations General Assembly

BTS will be delivering special message at the 75th United Nations General Assembly.

According to reports by Korean Media outlets on September 22, BTS has been invited to deliver speech at the 75th United Nations General Assembly. The general assembly will take place on September 23 at 10 PM KST.

Following the reports, the Korean Committee for UNICEF confirmed, “BTS will deliver the message of hope during the high-level meeting of the UN Group of Friends of Solidarity for Global Health Security on September 23 at 9 AM ET (10 p.m. KST), Wednesday.”

In 2020, South Korea launched the UN Group of Friends of Solidarity for Global Health Security to discuss about health security issue such as COVID-19. The group includes 40 UN member states, with South Korea, Canada, the Kingdom of Denmark, the State of Qatar, and the Republic of Sierra Leone as co-chairs.

BTS will be talking about different difficulties which our future generation will face due to COVID-19. This is the second time BTS will be delivering speech at the United Nations General Assembly.

Previously, the group delivered speech at the launch ceremony of UNICEF’s Generation Unlimited at the 73rd UN General Assembly in 2018. Since 2017, BTS is working with UNICEF to end violence on youth with their campaign “Love Myself.”
