BTS And UNICEF New Video To End Violence On International Friendship Day

On the occasion of International Friendship Day (July 30), BTS and UNICEF have released a special video for the UNICEF’s “ENDviolence” campaign as well as a part of the group’s “LOVE MYSELF” campaign.

Video shows pain of youth suffering from abuse and violence from their peers, and also how music, kindness and friendship can help to fight against it. Video is available in 6 different language – English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, and Korean – on Youtube. In video of 2 min and 30 sec, BTS wants to send message to become warm, and treat each other with respect and kindness.

BTS members said, “The ‘LOVE MYSELF’ campaign is a campaign to encourage children and teens over the world to find love inside them and spread that love to others. We hope that by sharing love and kindness, violence will disappear soon from the world.”

General Secretary of UNICEF Korea – Lee Ki Chul – said, ” We are glad BTS, who has spread message of hope to teens around the world, has joined hand with us in this global campaign to end violence. Hope this video on the International Friendship Day will help to encourage and comfort children and adolescents worldwide. Also, motivate other to share kindness with each other.”
