BLACKPINK is making a set of new records with their comeback music video.
On June 26, BLACKPINK made their most-waited comeback with their “How You Like That” MV, a new pre-release single. The music video has already made a set of record in a less than a day since its release.
The music video was released on YouTube premiere, and a total of 1.65 million people watched the music video concurrently when it dropped. This breaks the previous record held by BTS’s “ON,” which was watched by 1.54 million people during its premiere.
Released at 6 PM KST, the music video achieved the 10 million views on YouTube in only 3 hours and 40 minutes. With this, “How You Like That” broke the record of the fastest K-pop girl group MV to reach the 10 million views, previously held by BLACKPINK themselves.
Previous record was held by “Kill This Love,” which hit the 10 million mark in 4 hours and 13 minutes.
At the time of writing this article (11:45 KST), the music video has already surpassed 25 million views on YouTube.
In other news, BLACKPINK also recently joined Twitter, and shared photo of group members.
